I had one of the worst hotel experiences ever at Holiday Inn Bodrum. We booked a room for two people, but when we arrived, we were shocked to find it barely fit one person. The room was so small you couldn't even stand or walk properly in it. There was no water in the fridge, and despite asking three times, no one brought us any until the second day. The bathroom was dirty, and the AC wasn't working at all, making the stay even more unbearable in the summer heat. We eventually decided to upgrade and pay double the original price, hoping for a better experience. Instead, we were given a room with two single beds instead of the king-sized bed we requested. We asked them to push the beds together and provide one duvet – they never came. To make things worse, the telephone in the room didn’t work for two days, so we had to wait until we randomly saw someone from housekeeping. She eventually gave us a single duvet, but it was very small and had blood and mucus stains on it. Absolutely disgusting and unacceptable. This hotel completely ruined my vacation. Poor service, lack of cleanliness, and total disregard for guests’ comfort. I do not recommend this hotel to anyone.

The staff was kind and helpful, the proximity from the city center (but it's not an easy walk so be ready), the private beach.
