I really enjoyed sleeping in a tent on the roof top and the open air shower. The tent had a nice bed with a bug net and fan. Located in a great location and you can meet fellow travelers.

The host fixed us up on a direct bus from Nouakchott to Terjit. All other independent travelers we met had no idea that you could get there without taking a bus to Atar first. Traveling in Mauritania independently (without one of those exorbitant multi-day tours), this accommodation is an ideal starting point. We gained a lot of valuable inside tips here. Additionally, rooms were a good value, and the Wi-Fi worked well for my 1-hour Zoom meeting.
