Visiting the outdoor bathroom at 2 or 3 am was no problem. À short walk under starry skies.

Female solo traveler review ️ Hostel options in Caye Caulker are really limited, and many of the few available places tend to have negative reviews. This guesthouse is a good alternative. The island itself is quite expensive, so while the room was not the most budget-friendly, it was reasonable. The staff was very kind, and it’s a place where you can feel safe during your stay. The more affordable rooms felt somewhat motel-like. Although they are cleaned frequently, the bed sheets had small stains, and the curtains appeared worn and poorly maintained. A major plus is the presence of fans in the rooms, which makes a big difference given the island’s heat and humidity. There are two bathrooms shared among four rooms, however, they are quite small, with low water pressure and no hot water. On the positive side, the common areas are nice and inviting, and the guesthouse is very well located in the center.
